DELETE YOUR DATA

You can permanently delete your Cosmic Tea account and all associated data at any time. This is irreversible.
1. Delete From Inside the App (Recommended)
If you can still sign in, this is the fastest way. Deletion runs immediately on confirmation.
- Open Cosmic Tea on iOS or Android.
- Tap You in the bottom navigation.
- Tap Privacy & Data.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
You'll be signed out and your account will be gone the moment you confirm.
2. Delete By Email
If you no longer have access to the device or the app, email privacy@cosmictea.app from the address tied to your account with the subject line “Delete my account”.
We'll verify the request by replying to that email address and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually within 72 hours.
3. What Gets Deleted
- Your account profile (email, display name, birthday, birth time, birth city, time zone)
- Your saved birth chart data
- Every relationship you've saved to your Roster (names, birthdays, compatibility scores, chart data)
- Every chat message you've exchanged with any guide
- Your daily horoscope history
- Your Cosmic Tea subscription record (this does not cancel the underlying App Store or Google Play subscription, see section 5)
- Your product analytics events
4. What Is Retained, and Why
- Anonymized server logs (HTTP request metadata, error traces) are kept for up to 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes, then automatically purged. These contain no personally identifiable account data after deletion.
- Payment and tax records required by App Store, Google Play, and applicable tax law are retained by those platforms per their own policies, not by us.
5. Your App Store or Google Play Subscription
⚠️ Deleting your Cosmic Tea account does not cancel any active subscription. To stop being billed, cancel through the store itself.
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Cosmic Tea → Cancel
- Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cosmic Tea → Cancel
6. Timeline
In-app deletion takes effect immediately. The moment you confirm, your account is gone and you're signed out on every device.
Email deletion completes within 30 days of our verified reply, and typically within 72 hours. We'll send a confirmation once it's done.
